The 16th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival in Romania is to screen Iranian films.
The Romanian festival will screen ‘Simulation’ by Abed Abest, Mehdi Fard Ghaderi’s ‘Immortality’, ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘76 Minutes and 15 Seconds with Abbas Kiarostami’ directed by Seifollah Samadian.
Founded in 2002 by the Romanian Film Promotion, TIFF has grown rapidly to become the most important film-related event in the country.
TIFF is the first international feature film festival in Romania, which is held annually in the historic capital of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca.
In 2011, Transilvania IFF was accredited by the FIAPF, which places it among the 40 most important festivals in the world.
